Hello Devin. It works best over clear surfaces to ensure you get a stained glass effect. Applying it over plastic (that's generally a solid surface) would not give the promised results. Adhesion would be difficult on plastic surfaces. We recommend it on glass. We hope this helps.

How much glossy black coat? I used this stuff and made a solid black coat, then the green-gold, and it just looks black-green and that's in bright light directly on it. Don't see an iota of gold or yellow at all.

What type of Krylon spray paint can I use to repaint a classic fiberglass mid-century chair?

I live in a small town and recently bought your rust tough paint in a bulk can becauseit was all that I could find. I applied it with a spray gun to the floor boards that I had just replaced in my daughters car. I've gotta say, I applied great. It self leveled really well, didn't run easily, dry time is on the slower side but manageable. Unless it starts flaking off in some weird way in the next short while I can guarantee you I'll be buying that stuff again. I just wish I had the option to tint it to specific colours, that's the worst I can say about it.

How does Fusion compare to ColorMaxx? Are the colors exact matches and do they have the same coverage? Thanks!

Around 18 seconds in she is sanding the chair and around 20 seconds in she is spraying the paint on the chair. Don't do what she's doing. The instructions even say not to do what she is doing. Don't start the spray on your project and don't stop the spray on your project. Start off to the side of project and end off of it as well. This video is about teaching and showing us. well now my project is ruined, all thanks to this video. Off to buy another 4 cans of krylon to redo it after sanding it all off. Cheap to expensive in 2.2 seconds

Painting as they show in this video is NOT practical. Most objects should be propped above the surface so that the paint will not stick to the table/newspapers/ drop cloth etc. One trick is to use the spray can cap as a support stand.

I'm using the Glossy Clear Acrylic Spray Color Maxx. Do the same rules in this video apply to it too? Also, the same for the Epoxy Enamel? I had some drippong on some copper jewelry items but I don't care. I can file them down and re-coat. Another question is: is the Epoxy Enamel Spray more resistant than the clear acrylic color maxx spray on jewelry (heavy everyday use)? Thank you!
